This issue about the gender of a baby has broken

some homes especially in some africsn countries

where they feel a male child is far better than a female child,in such culture they respect the male

child more than the female ,according to those cultures they believe that a woman that has not

given birth to baby boy is not yet fully finished the task of child-bearing until she gives birth to a

male child,and if she is not able to give birth to a
male child then the husband starts thinking of

getting another woman pregnant with the hope that the new woman will born a male child,well as

for me i believe that such culture or mentality

should be stopped because a female child can also achieve great things and is as important as the male child,a child is a child whether male or

female,i believe that the society needs to support gender equality..
