Yes that day can not come soon enough. Segregation runs so deep on so many levels be it for colour, sex, race. I see it as a weapon really to disempower and I await for the time when we can all rise up together . Thank you for your response x

Well I do know what mass adoption would do to the reward pool and that is a huge fear of mine and selfish as well because I want to grow. That's why I'm looking into purchasing steem if and when I have the money. Becoming a minnow is a priority of mine. I hope I achieve that before the SMTs release

I don't see it as selfish, just honest. You will make it before SNT's hit. They said from March but that doesn't mean they will all launch in March. Musing is coming mid year which was announced during Steemfest.
Most users are happy it takes a little time still and is a natural response as we have worked so hard to get this far. It is not just the new users though but all the dormant accounts will come back when Steem rises.

Well let's hope for the best. I pray to be in a better position before then. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the issue.

To be honest I face the same challenge. It's quite strange the indifference towards steem. Some are aware and still, they won't even give it a try. I'm hoping with the development of dapps we can attract more people

Thanks for the answer @Anonsteve!

The Creative Commons BY-NC (non-commercial) license defines non-commercial as “Not primarily intended for or directed towards commercial advantage or monetary compensation”. The interesting part here is the “primary intention”. Could I claim that the primary intention was to share knowledge or entertain or something, and earning some tokens was just a fortunate side effect?

Possibly. I'm by no means an expert but if your monetary compensation was incidental and not based on an agreement of any kind, I think you'd probably be on a strong footing in court.

Also the earnings will probably be so small that any company would ever sue over that.

Still I think I will go by your first recommendation and try to always use freely licensed content and I recommend everyone else to do the same, unless Creative Commons changes their terms and explicitly mention sites where you can earn tokens with real value.

Nail hit on head. Considering human attention is one of the most valuable resources of the current era, it's nice to see people joining decentralized, transparent alternatives to the exploitive data mining alternatives.

Thanks for leaving your thoughts!

Absolutely spot on! Looking forward to seeing you around the blockchain! 🤙

Wonderful response! Couldn't agree more with you, and I'm happy to be a part of this thing with you!

Great to hear that. Steem on!

Thanks for your well thought response, and for your attention this morning. You're clearly a valuable member of the community!
