20 minutes per day or per week of intense workout? How would you classify intensity?

The rule of thumb I use:

It's regular exercise when you do activities that are known to be within your comfort zone. If you know you can jog for this specific amount of time within this distance, then it's not really pushing yourself. It's just regular movements to keep your muscles in tone and burn some calories you accumulated.

Intense workouts are those that try to push you at your limits. Sprinting instead of jogging, strength training, and anything that really tests you in a short amount of time. Intense workouts are meant to increase stamina and tolerates for your body to bear more effort. While regular exercise helps your body in shape but not necessarily improve your physical limits.

But there's no fit program per person. Like I said, if you got some health conditions to worry about like lung or heart problems that would hinder you to perform physical activities, it is best to consult a physician for what appropriate activities you could try and how long.
