I for one don't think it's good to take revenge because I believe so much in karma. No matter how hurtful and painful the act someone might have done to you just try to let go unless it's a criminal act then you can report to the police or rightful authorities.

If it's not one that  can be considered to be a criminal act. Then just leave the person and let karma decides. For whatsoever one do today always comes back hunting them.

I won't advise revenge also because you might end up hurting yourself when trying to get it.
