Zoo Lights - Show Us Your California

in #mycalifornialast month

Hi friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.

With the holidays upon us, there are a number of ways to enjoy some holiday lights. One unique way is the zoo lights that are put on by the Los Angeles Zoo. My family and I were able to go and check them out recently, take a look:

It was a beautiful night to walk around, albeit a little chilly for Southern California. My only complaint was that most of the zoo animals were asleep so you couldn’t see them. Granted, it’s not about the animals and is solely about the lights… I just think that if you are at the zoo you should be able to see some of the animals. Oh well, guess I will have to go back during the daytime!

Thanks for coming by and checking out a piece of my California.

What can I say, the Christmas lights are the main characters, the animals were asleep, as you say, it will be another day when they can be seen

The Christmas season is very pleasant; I don't think they can see the animals at the zoo precisely because of the hour, but they enjoy the lights and have a good time.

Congratulations, your post won 1st prize in this weeks Show us Your California contest!!
