Hello, @everyone!.

I am pleased to publish the fifth week of the My Community, My Story challenge, which is currently underway as part of Season 33 of the Steemit engagement challenge. For this week, please talk about Festivals, Culture & Traditions.

The heartbeat of every community is festivals, culture, and traditions, which reflect our history, beliefs, identity, and values. The world is vast, filled with diverse cultures and traditions, especially in Africa and other regions. Through traditional clothing, cultural celebrations, dances, music, rituals, and food, communities have been able to preserve their heritage and pass it on to future generations, which will continue to be passed down to the next generation.

For this week of our engagement challenge, you have been allowed to share the important festivals, cultural practices, and traditions in your community. It doesn't matter whether it is an annual celebration, local customs, a cultural event, or traditional ceremony; we just want you to share with us the special events that bring people together in your community.

What to Explain

  1. What is the name of the culture, festival, or tradition that is celebrated in your community? Tell us where it usually takes place and share the Google Map, Steematlas, and Google Plus location.

  2. In your community, why is this festival or tradition important to your community?

  3. What activities do they like: music, dance, food, ritual, clothing, etc.

  4. Tell us what you enjoy the most about the tradition or celebration.

  5. Share with us how it brings people together in your community, and tell us if you would recommend visitors experience it and why?

Note: You must write a full review of the place you visited, and adding a video would be an added advantage.
