In our community, the wedding ceremony of a girl friend is celebrated as a joyful and important socio-cultural event. Marriage is not only the beginning of a new life for two people, but also a special occasion for the family, relatives, friends and neighbors to come together.The wedding ceremony is organized before the wedding. During this time, the groom is smeared with turmeric, songs and music are played, laughter and joy are organized and various kinds of fun are organized.

Friends and family members participate together and wish the groom well. After that, the wedding ceremony is completed following religious and social customs in the presence of relatives and guests.

In your community, why is this festival or tradition important to your community?

In our community, the Gae Halud and Bhiwat ceremony at the wedding of a Maidul Bandhu is an important social and cultural tradition. This ceremony is not limited to the formalities of the wedding; rather, it creates an opportunity for family, relatives, friends and neighbors to come together.Through the Gae Halud ceremony, everyone shares the joy, wishes the groom well and blesses him for his new life. On the other hand, the wedding ceremony marks the beginning of new relationships and bonds between two families.

What activities do they like: music, dance, food, ritual, clothing, etc.

Everyone enjoys various joyful activities during the wedding ceremony of Maidul Bandhu. Especially, singing, laughter, joy, dancing, delicious food and traditional clothing are the main attractions of the ceremony. During the wedding ceremony, friends and relatives smear turmeric on the groom and celebrate. Many people participate in the singing and dancing and take pictures together.At the wedding ceremony, various types of traditional food are prepared for the guests.

Tell us what you enjoy the most about the tradition or celebration

Among the wedding ceremonies and the wedding ceremony, I enjoyed the most the moments of joy together with friends, relatives and acquaintances. Especially during the wedding ceremony, the laughter, jokes, singing, dancing and the joy of smearing turmeric on the groom were very enjoyable.I also particularly liked the things of wearing beautiful clothes at the wedding ceremony, taking pictures together, eating delicious food and observing various social and family customs.

Maidul Bandhur Gae Halud and the wedding ceremony provide a wonderful opportunity to bring people together in our community. Families, relatives, friends and neighbors participate in this ceremony. Everyone wears Halud, sings, laughs, dances, serves food and observes various wedding rituals. This strengthens the bond of love, cooperation and social cohesion among people. I would definitely recommend visitors to experience such ceremonies.
