SLC33-W6: My Community, My Story – Challenges in My Community

Hello, @everyone!.

I am pleased to publish the sixth week of the My Community, My Story challenge, which is currently underway as part of Season 33 of the Steemit engagement challenge. For this week, please talk about Challenges in My Community.

For this final week of the My Community, My Story challenge, participants are free to create awareness about problems facing their community. No Community is 100 percent perfect; every community has challenges that affect the daily lives of its people.

There are many challenges, such as unemployment, poor roads, inadequate healthcare, flooding, waste management, poor network connectivity, insecurity, lack of clean water, limited educational facilities, transportation problems, and more. As a participant, you don't have to do much; all you need to do is identify and discuss a real challenge affecting your community.

What to Explain

1. Introduce your community, name, and location

2. What is the major challenge affecting your community, and how does the problem affect the people in your community?

3. Tell us what you think is the cause of the problem that is affecting your community

4. Tell us the efforts that have been made to address it, and tell us your solution to the problem.

5. As someone who wants this problem to be solved, tell us how community members, organisations, or government can help

Rules and criteria:

• The title of your post should be: SLC33-W6: My Community, My Story – Challenges in My Community

• You can make the post on your blog or in any community.

• Use your own original photos, or else you will be disqualified

• Plagiarism and the use of AI are prohibited. The post must contain a minimum of 300 words.

• You can add a video with a minimum duration of 30 seconds.

• You must add a picture of yourself or a means of identification at the place.

• Provide details that you know about the place. Like: (Address, Google map link, Google Plus code, and Steematlas link),

• Invite at least three friends to participate.

• Leave the link to your post in the comments section, and don't forget to vote and resteem this post.

• Any language is accepted.

• Promote your post on social media platforms like X.

• This contest will run for 7 days, from 17th August 2026 to 23rd August 2026, and will end on Sunday at exactly 11:59 PM (Nigeria Time, WAT / 22:59 UTC).

In my judging, I will focus on how well you explain your shopping experience and storytelling based on your photos, items purchased, proof of purchase, store information, how well your post is organised, and a lot more will be taken into consideration.
