ah the cycle of life and the changing of the seasons. transplants from the midwest complain about lack of clearly defined 4 seasons in California but I've never minded. What I notice most is in a place like Minnesota, nature explodes in spring with such rich greens and flowers and blooms. In my part of California you never get that extreme beauty, more low key
