CELEBRATING MY 1ST 1000 STEEM POWER

Hello amazing and great Steemians, I am @freshgrace, the one you have motivated to a milestone that worths celebrations. Today I am excited giving this testimony of my steem journey. I will mention few names who directly contributed to where I am right now and i will continue in the next phase to mention the people that I do not even know but their comments enabled me.

It was in September that @etette introduced me to Steemit. I didn't really do well; my first 3 posts did not receive anything encouraging, but he kept telling me how to write. One day @bossj23 stopped by one of my posts and made some observations too. Three days later, he made a post on his blog, I guessed, and that lecture note with pictorials simplified the rules of Steemit. Even though I am not yet perfect, I started writing differently and kept exploring other Steemians' posts and learnt from them too.

I asked @megareins how you people got those thousands of Steem Power, and he told me I need to be consistent. As a result-orientated personality, I believe in consistency. I started writing every day, whether the post was curated or not, but as I was writing, boomers and curators were encouraged by upvoting and dropping constructive comments to help me grow.

So today, I am celebrating my first one thousand (1000) steem power, a journey of no return, no backing out, but forward we push. This community encourages financial freedom, and it's very educational. In fact, I will say that Steemit is another beautiful school for creative writing. You write and earn and get paid and get corrected to do well by the advice and by reading others' write-ups.

The 1000 SP is not my arrival but a push to achieve more, which I am ready to do. Write, participate in contests and contribute meaningfully to this ecosystem.
