My Diary Game: SUNDAY SERVICE AND GOING FOR INVITATIONS - 30/11/2025

Happy Sunday, fellow Steemians. I @freshgrace. It was a glorious worship day, starting from my church to the reception service and the “In Time Music Concert”.

MORNING

I struggled with the stress of yesterday which was hectic. By 5am, the alarm rang, I pushed the button to silent and I fell asleep again until 6:06am. Kneeling to pray, I was dosing but my wife helped me by calling that my bathing water was ready. I managed myself knowing that I must be in church on or before 8am.

We had the school of purpose and discipleship from 8am to 9am. During this time, we studied the heart of man. This book helped us to search deeper into our lives and live right with God.

The service commenced at 9am with Procession and other liturgical orders for the conduct of the service. Hymns were sung, the praise worship session was electrifying and meaningfully connecting our souls to God. Choir rendered their piece, Bible lessons read and then the preacher touched the soul of the congregants exegeting on the topic “NO MORE PROVISION FOR FRESH”. Although he read from other passages of the scriptures, I picked

“Isa.2.11 - The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.”

Pride is the work of the flesh which we should not give provision for it to rule over us. He mentioned being greedy, reframing from all forms of vices, sin that will lead us to destruction.

AFTERNOON

We dismissed the service at 11:37am and I was still around to see members. At 12:03pm, I left for The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria Four Towns Parish for a reception service for a new minister. It's about 3 days since I reached Ibom plaza, the most common and commercial location in Akwa Ibom State. I notice the whole of Ibom plaza is close with the governor's photos and writings of his motivations. Coming from the car that carried me, I paused to have a sight of the environment. I believe that some work for Christmas is ongoing. The state will know, once it's done because for now the arena is out of bound.

I proceeded my journey to the church where I met them at the point of thanksgiving and support was raised for the newly received minister. The service came to a close at about 2pm and I went to Odiok Itam in Itu Local Government. I had my Todah Praise Tshirt inside my bag since I knew that I may not get to the house before going for the next program in the evening.

EVENING

The “In Time” concert 2025 was supposed to start at 4pm, but connecting sound and other setup was delayed. The event later started about 5:35pm. Various music ministers were in attendance to light up the atmosphere. The organizers were happy to see me and I graced the occasion with moral support.
I left the event about 7:47pm due to my distant and I got home about 9pm. It was a very busy day, I quickly had my bath while my wife set the table. I ate my dinner and went to bed.
