My Diary Game: TAKING RESPONSIBILITIES WITHOUT DISAPPOINTMENTS – 14/11/2025

Hello great Steemians, I am @fresh here to share my diary report of 14th November 2025. How are you doing? May God grant you favour this weekend in Jesus Christ's name. AMEN21X.

Following updates these few days and still counting, you will notice some of my involvement in YOWICCN. By God's grace, I am the Assistant Secretary of the organisation who is always available to take up any task for the interest of the body. This time it is about our state football tournament, and all hands are on deck to see the planning done accordingly. As you read on, my engagements and running around for its success are clearly reported.

I woke up in the morning with many engagements, especially how to deliver everything before the opening match for the YOWICCN football tournament. I didn't exclude going to school to teach my children. Speaking with the Chairman of YOWICCN on phone, I told him to give me some time to go to school first and wrap up with classes, so we can continue our runs for the tournament.

At about 5:30am I got up, ironed my clothes and prepared my son for school. We left the house on time to wait for the school bus by Ewet Bus Stop in Uyo. As the bus picked him up to take him to his campus, I was going in my direction. Immediately after devotion at school, I began with primary two (2) and others before the Chairman called again and picked me up.

Our letter for the Football Association (FA) of Akwa Ibom State was ready and went straight to the Uyo Township Stadium off Udo Umana where we met with officials. The beautiful stadium at 11am was very busy with different groups training. The weather was sunny even in the morning. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the training was seriously done as though they were going for a competition. Our meeting was fruitful although the Chairman had traveled perhaps for the Super Eagles world cup qualifier in Rabat.

We spent about an hour and left for Ikot Ekpene Road to buy a football, medals and a trophy that will be presented to the team that will win. The price of these items had skyrocketed, and inflated bills put fear in us. We had to reconsider our budget and cut costs to fit into our scale of preference. We then drove to The Salvation Army Church at number 37 Udotung Ubo Street, Uyo to see the Corpse Officer of the church for a release of their brass band and other assistance from him. The band for the opening match was not possible due to church engagements on the same day.
We left the church around 2pm to check our flex printing. It wasn't done, but I was told to pick it up in the evening. This was where we went separate ways until evening. Get home I rested as I couldn't do anything else and gradually, I slept off while writing my diary game for the previous day.

In the evening while I was preparing to go and see the print, a family who had just buried their father, called for me to take them to our head quarter church to see the incharge, while waiting for them, I helped my landlady to dispose of the waste as she was cleaning the environment. About 5:19pm, the family came and I went with them to the church yard. When they went to meet with the in charge, I was enjoying choir rehearsals the church was doing. Toward 6pm, they were through, seeing them off, I directed my face to the printing center to pick up the banner. Although, I spent an additional 1 hour 30 minutes. I managed to get to the house before 8pm so that I could join online prayers. I settled for snacks for dinner and I called it a busy day without disappointment on every delivery.

It is one thing to be elected or appointed to head a particular office, the uniqueness of any position is based on "delivery" and holding yourself responsible for the rising and falling of your office. It is on this premise that one will have to combined personal itineraries, family and the goal of your office or organization.
