God bless all my fellow Steemians. Happy weekend. May God favour you and approve your requests in Jesus Christ's name. AMEN21X.

I had a very boring morning, and it put me off completely. The only option left was to sleep after dropping my son at school. I returned home and studied the Bible for my evening homily in the headquarters for a service of songs. Later in the afternoon, I was strong and energized, attending to other engagements with spiritual reflections and blessings.

MORNING

First of all, why was my morning very boring? People like us need electricity for many things; the gadgets to be charged is one of them. For about three (3) days, I have been seeing light shining through the bulbs in the neighbourhood, excluding a few houses, of which my house is affected. The morning records of my activities, like taking my son to school, visiting grocery stores and taking my shoes for amendments, were not captured because my cell phone was completely dead.

AFTERNOON

Waking up in the afternoon, I went to the neighbourhood where I powered my phone. It was disappointing to have 16% after charging the phone for over 3 hours. Someone tempered with my charger trying to plug in her own phone. I just had to pick it up and switch it on. It wasn't too long before my senior colleague called me to prepare for church events. I was to give Homily a service of songs before moving to Abak Road for the All Presbyterian Conference 2025. At about 3:02pm, I waited for him to bring his children from school, and we moved to where he dropped me at 73 Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo.

EVENING RECORDS

It wasn't time; therefore, the church was empty until 4:45pm. To keep myself entertained, I played the keyboard (piano) until it was time. The deceased's family began to come, one by one with other members, until the pews began to feel heat as people warmed the seats. The service featured songs by different groups in the church and the deceased's family. 10 mins The homily was handled with the topic “The Crooked Way”, taken from Luke 3:1-6. John the Baptist, as the forerunner of Jesus Christ, admonished people to prepare and make their crooked ways straight. Crooked ways represent dishonesty, a sin capable of making us miss salvation when we die.

We finished at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria Uyo Parish at 73 Wellington Bassey at exactly 6:27pm and then proceeded to join the All Presbyterian Conference done at the Synod level. It is a nationwide conference but is left at the Synod jurisdiction. The teachings were spiritually rewarding, as the preacher for Day 1 urged Presbyterians to remain steadfast in God and turn from sinful ways as he read from 2 Chronicles 7:14. He summarised his sermon with encouragement that all will be well in Nigeria. The congregants spent time praying for the country, and the cleric made prophetic declarations to build the strength of the members. The sick were also prayed for.
The event came to a close at 8:34pm.

I returned home with the electrical situation remaining unchanged. The evening was also a problem. Heat was experienced, and I had to bathe multiple times and spend time outside until I could struggle with sleep again. I got jollof rice for dinner.
