Cabin/Fishing trip. Day 2

Another 40inch, this one was caught on the tip-up
Fishing out front of the cabin
Caught a small Jack
First Pickerel
Sienna’s baby Jack
Didn’t get a measurement on this bad boy, It had bit down on Dallas’s thumb so we just got a quick picture.
So far he has pulled out 3 Jackfish teeth
Last Pickerel caught before we left.
It was another great day of fishing!

Is this type of fishing sustainable for a family in the Winter?
Thanks! We still have a bit of snow this year, by now it is usually mostly all gone.
Fishing like this can absolutely be sustainable for a smaller family but only because we are so close to so many different lakes (at minimum 20 lakes within a 30-40min radius from us) and these big Jacks coming out of this lake are enough to feed a family of 4 for 2 days!
Normally we net fish in the fall on a bigger lake about a half hour away but with our cabin build, shit breaking and other mishaps we didn't have the time.
We eat an array of different wild meats as well.
