My root My identity... New year experience
Hey guys, hope our new year experience wass fun-filled? Mine was a blast (gbooom). I started my new year eve at my village with my extended family. After church service, there were lots of merriment till dawn. At dawn, I went to the village stream to fetch drinking water, a stream I haven't seen for 17years now. Here is what our stream looks like...
Despite the fact that the water is been fetched from the ground, one can never get sick because it's believed that the water is purer than one thinks. I felt on top of the world that I could still identify with my root after being away for so long. Township babe carrying a bucket of water on her head... hahahaha
The irony of the whole thing is that single maidens are to go to the river on bare foot so that the gene of your rightful spouse will locate you...now that's so funny.
If I keep narrating about my village escapades with our stream, I will probably produce a home video. All in all, was so glad I visited my root after such a long time.
