It doesn't actually say for certain that "Kirk" did it, and that isn't actually a trace, or so it appears. I think @ahlawat meant a trace to find out the actual person who did this. I doubt that will be easy to do unless the hacker was careless and left behind clues, such as not hiding his/her IP address via a proxy/VPN.

I certainly hope this person's caught and their Bitcoins confiscated.
