It's very abundant in the coniferous forest where I live. It is known as muskeg tea for it grows in swamps, muskegs and bogs. Look for it in the shaded portion of a forest. It will also grow in the tundra and in the mountains. Hope that helps.
Yes, thanks. I'm a little far south (Washington State) but I know folks have found it here, just not in the same abundance as further north.
