That does sound like a fine way to spend Valentine's Day but I see reading a book as more of a solitary thing, which I love to do, but would have never related it to Valentines unless your sharing with your husband.
Oh, I see your context, but I meant if he was going to give me a gift, I’d rather have a book than a box of chocolates or a diamond 😉
