We were talking about this on @pennsif's show today - about managing dry land, particulary @orlev with the new land they have in Portugal.

I don't like ANY of the weather we are having at the moment -- less rain than we should have had, freak days of unseasonably warm weather (all the tops of my broad beans were burnt off) and lots of wind. It is all rather ominous. We might need more than shovels.
