The dairy game: farming as a source of livelihood 27/05/2026

Today, I'm sharing my benefit from farming. I never really like farming growing up because I considered it punishable. I never really understood it because my parent were there to provide for me in my teenage period. I grew up to understand clearly why people engaged greatly in farming. Nowadays, no portion of land seem to be a waste because of the high rate of farming both for consumption and commercial purposes.

I leave in a very big compound and my landlord offered the tenants piece of land to plant anything they wish to. I've really benefited leaving in this compound. There are so many farm produce I don't buy from the market because I'm planting some of the things like pumpkin, waterleaf, cucumber, pepper, bitter leaf, cassava pineapple , banana, plantain etc

Farming is extremely important because it supports human life in many direct and indirect ways. Farming is the main source of food for humans. Crops like rice, wheat, fruits, and vegetables, and animal products like milk, eggs, and meat all come from agriculture. A large number of people around the world depend on farming for their livelihood. Many industries rely on agricultural products as raw materials. Agriculture contributes significantly to the economy of many countries by generating income and exports. farming is the backbone of human survival and economic .

I planted pineapple 🍍 too in the compound. That belongs to my landlord, and I'm the one taking care of it. I plucked this pineapple few moths ago and I was so amazed to see a pineapple fruit with thirty-two sucker's. A lot of people requested for the succer which I gave them. It was so big to behold. I was wondering why this particular one had 32 sucker's. It is the Lord's doing. I planted the three of the sucker's and they are growing very well. I want to see if it will still be big with many suckers.
Anything that add values to one's life should be taken for granted, just like farming.
