Wind Power Plant in Lower Austria

In the Part of Lower Austria that Stefan and I visit from time to time there are a lot of wind power plants. Since the area there is very flat and the wind can blow very easy without any disturbance, this makes it a perfect place for some wind parks that generate power from the wind. Some say that these Wind turbines make an landscape ugly but I don't think so If there are only few and not thousands (whole skyline full of windmills) I think they look quite good. Of course the Platform where these windmills stand on has to be concrete and therefore a small part of land is destroyed. But compared to other power Plants I think this is a relatively small area that can be used to produce some engery. Some way or another energy has to be created.
