Doing it like on the Discovery Channel: Spring titillationsteemCreated with Sketch.

in #nature7 years ago

I was walking the dog along a boardwalk section of a walking trail. There was much flapping in the grass right next to the path. Luckily, doggy was on the lead, because she loves chasing flappy things. At first, I thought it was an injured bird; we were so close to it, I thought that the only reason it hadn't flown off was that it wasn't able to.

On second inspection, I realised there were two of them down there. Doing it like on the Discovery Channel. They were so into it, they weren't going to stop just because some giant and her sharp-toothed companion were standing less than a metre away. I knelt down to take some porn a photo and they still kept going. You can see the spread out tail of the boy bird and the feathers under that, that's a girl bird (snigger). They are red wattlebirds, or anthochaera carnunculata; native to the southern areas of the Australian mainland. The dog was eager to join them. I said, "No, if I can't have any fun, you can't either."

Suddenly, they were up and in a tree... still going at it. Flew to another branch... at it again. It was fascinating for a while, but watching two animals with brains the size of a pea having a better sex life than me was eventually just depressing; so I walked away to the sound of excited squawking receding in the distance.

I like your honesty at the end with respect to your sex life. I feel the same way. I remember a friend form the past who popular breed of dog that he bought for the purpose of breeding. He kept him locked up in this tiny brick square pen and that was the dog's life. It was really sad, especially one time when the sirens were wailing and he started to howl. You could feel the sadness in the dog's heart. Anyhow, the guy finally got him his mating companion and it was amazing just to see the satisfied look after they had done it... it must have been a huge dopamine hit for them. Eventually, the two dogs were separated, and then he went back to his mournful ways.
