Nature is AWESOME!

I don't know about you but I think being out in nature is the BEST thing you can do to unwind from the day and get your mind off of all the bad things that you have been dealing with! Today, I did just that! I snapped some awesome pics along my way through nature today and I wanted to share them with you!

Let's go for a small hike..

First stop along the trail is Cress Creek! The water level was low but it was still great to take off my shoes and put my feet in the water!

But good thing I was watching out because I discovered a small snake who was checking me out and ready to protect it's home!

After cooling my feet off in the creek a bit I started out on the trail again and come across a couple beautiful flowers! Do you know what kind these are??

After gazing at the awesome wild flowers, I made my way through Hog Patch Woods where I loved this old sign!

After walking through Hog Patch Woods, I approached a cool little pond called "Turtle Pond" which was very moss covered but beautiful! Unfortunately though, I did not see any turtles! :(

Along the small hike was a very cool old concrete silo! Of course, I just had to take a picture standing inside looking up at the sky! I thought it was pretty amazing really!

Here is another shot of the outside of the silo looking upwards through where the old wooden ladder was!

At the end of the trail, I came out to a small clearing where the Sanctuary holds small tours and gives lectures! Being the only one there...of course I decided to try to be funny! haha
