The Call of the Wild

Most of the winter season is not that great for being outdoors because it’s wet, cold, and snowy. Even a small slip up could turn into a big problem in those conditions, plus there’s the risk of hypothermia, frostbite, etc. On the other hand, the bears are hibernating at this time, so it’s less likely you're going to encounter one while trekking through their foraging and hunting grounds. Now that hiking season has arrived, I'm getting psyched about what lies on the trails ahead.
