I love these little guys, they are everywhere in our yard. It's funny to come across their shells empty deep in the woods, one usually thinks of the sea and 'sea shells'. And I like how the dark line winds round it like someone hand painted them. I'm glad they got some recognition :)
Even in the more forested parts of NYC, this was the only time I've ever seen a snail! Now I don't exactly have eyes peeled for them, but that's still a surprisingly low hit rate.
