Foggy Day at Princess Street

For me, the special thing about Edinburgh is that this city simply looks beautiful in any weather. Whether in sunshine, rain, at night or in thick fog, there is really no weather that does not suit the Scottish capital. So it doesn't matter what time of year you visit Edinburgh, you will always be able to experience the Scottish capital in all its glory. I particularly liked the mystical atmosphere on Princess Street in the fog: how the historic buildings, such as the unique Scott Monument, stand out as silhouettes against a white background and are almost swallowed up by the fog in the distance. What an atmospheric setting for my street photography!
