Nature Taking Over the City 5.9 km (
When I left the post office, I had to walk a few kilometers to the bank. Yes, I could have taken public transportation, gotten there quickly, and walked almost none at all… but the thing is: I want to walk, because I don’t get to do it very often.
I was taking in the surroundings; today, the color green seemed to dominate and look brighter than usual. I got distracted checking my phone and replying to messages… when I was startled by the shadow of a huge tree. I looked up—it’s so big! I wanted to hug it, but in that spot, you’re not allowed to step on the grass or the plants around it.
Its shape and texture are so beautiful, and I wanted to share it with you all. It’s a beautiful tree known as a Samán; it still looks like a baby tree—it can’t be more than 15 meters tall, and its trunk is probably no more than 40 centimeters in diameter. I’ve seen some ancient ones that are very tall, very leafy, and with much wider trunks.
This kind of setting automatically makes you take a deep breath; it even makes me want to sit under the tree, .

I love how you captured the vibrant greenery in your surroundings, and the Samán tree is a beautiful focal point in the scene - its texture and shape really stand out. Your photography skill is evident, krsuccess! 📸🌳👏
