Abstract Nature - On The Water Surface

Some time ago I was walking in my hometown called Mragowo (North-East of Poland) and when I was passing by the small lake in the city I found that the water starts to "bloom". It's happening every year when the water temperature is high. The alges start to bloom, gathering on the water surface, sometimes create a thick layer which can be deadly for fish and other animals living in the water.

It also smells really bad that time. It lasts a week maybe and then dissapear. It is a natural process in the lakes with fertile water - not really sure if I am using the proper English names here.
It is a process of eutrophication of lakes... Anyway...

I found that the patterns, colours, abstract forms created by these alges looks really interesting so I grabbed my smartphone and took a couple of images.

Few quick shots and I walked away because the smell was horrible for me - stinky old fishy smell mixed with something even worse...

Later I made some post processing in the Snapseed App and then uploaded images to laptop where I made a final post processing in Lightroom.

Here are the final effects of this - in my opinion really abstract and interesting.
