Amazing Places Around The World

Description: While this statement may be a bit biased, planet Earth is pretty amazing. Over the course of time, Mother Nature has proven to be the ultimate artist and painter when it comes to landscaping the Earth. For example, in Fort Bragg, California, there is a beautiful beach known as Glass Beach. On this beach, you can actually find the garbage of the early twentieth century. But the water and sand has made the garbage turn into smooth stones, which lay upon the shores of Glass Beach. It is the most perfect and beautiful example of how Mother Nature can turn man’s trash into her own treasure. Then we have the Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park located in China. These rock formations have beautiful jewel tones that make anyone gasp in awe. Visitors flock to the park each year to check out the landscape, which took millions of years and is the result of the perfect combination of sandstone and mineral deposits. After you take the trip to China, be sure to then head on over to Northern Ireland to check out the Giant’s Causeway, which looks like perfect pillars laid upon the coastline. The area also attracts numerous visitors, and has contributed to the myth that the coastline was formed by the giant, Finn McCool. If you’re looking for a romantic location to take your honey, then check out the Tunnel of Love in the Ukraine, which is an area of train track covered in trees, vines, and other greenery. It really looks like a page out of a fairytale. The train track is still active as well, but it doesn’t stop numerous couples from wanting to take their couple and engagement photos. Let’s hope the Tunnel of Love stays that way and doesn’t turn into anything darker from an accident. So far, Mother Nature has proven herself to be the ultimate painter and artist of the environment. Take Antelope Canyon in California. The formations of Navajo sandstone took thousands of years to create, as the sandstone was modeled and shaped by thousands of gallons of water rushing through the valley. In 2000, a special place now known as the Naica Mine was discovered in Mexico. The mine is filled with crystal beams and pillars. The area is a wide as a football field and is about two stories tall. The area gets regular visitors each year. If you would like to visit, just be wary that the mine is very hot and humid inside to the point where you’ll glisten just like the crystals inside. Ever wonder where the doorway to hell is? Some speculate that it is at Derweze in Turkmenistan, and it is technically man-made. The area is a giant crater of burning oil and coal, from the result of an accident decades ago. And the fire still burns. Numerous people visit the site each year, and if you’d like to go, make sure you’re not afraid of spiders, since hundreds of them flock to Derweze.
