Into the Mountains!

This photo was most likely taken on one of our many adventures from Vancouver to the Rocky Mountains. Back when we first moved to Canada Ryan would usually only work a four-day week, so most Thursday afternoons in summer (and sometimes winter, as well) we would jump in the car and head off for some hiking (or skiing) in the mountains. The drive usually took us 8 hours! We would spend 3 days hiking before turning around and driving the 8 hours back to Vancouver on Sunday afternoon.
