The Water and the Feel

This is a very beautiful picture. It reminds me exactly of a morning here, near the water.

Look at the sky first. It’s not just blue, no. It’s that wonderful golden-orange color, with the low clouds all scattered and catching the light like fire. It tells you it’s either a very early morning, or the sun is just going down. It gives the whole scene this warm, rich feeling, like everything is made of gold.

The water itself is almost a perfect mirror, you know? It’s reflecting all that crazy orange color from the sky, making it look like a quiet, calm river of honey or liquid metal. You can see the little ripples, but it’s mostly so peaceful.
