It is a bird with a very beautiful and calm nature.

Bottle gourd is a climbing plant that requires support to grow. Once the plant reaches a height of 4–5 inches, install a wooden frame, bamboo stakes, or a plastic trellis near the pot. With this support, the vine climbs rapidly, keeping its leaves and fruit off the ground (soil) and preventing them from rotting.
- Water and Sunlight Management
Sunlight: Bottle gourd plants need at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Place the pot in a sunny spot on your terrace or balcony.
Watering: The soil should remain slightly moist at all times, but water should not stagnate. Water the plant every morning and evening during summer; in winter, water only when the top layer of soil feels dry.

- Fertilization and Nutrition
Since the soil volume in a pot is limited, the plant requires regular nutrition.
Every 15–20 days, lightly loosen the soil and add vermicompost or well-decomposed cow dung manure.
Applying potassium-rich fertilizer (such as banana peel water) during the flowering stage helps produce better fruit.
- 3G Pruning
This is the best method to maximize the yield of bottle gourds. When the main vine reaches a length of 4–5 feet, trim off its topmost tip. This encourages the growth of side branches (known as 2G branches). Once these branches grow, trim their tips as well. This stimulates the growth of 3G branches, which produce more female flowers and significantly increase the bottle gourd yield.
