The World's five(5) Deadliest Snakes
One of the most dangerous bites are known to come from snakes.
Several Snake species can survive on land( rai. Forest and desert ) and water bodies(lakes,rivers). snake bite could lead to vomiting, Shortness of breath, and organ failure. Not all snakes have venom but I guess most people have phobia for snakes in general. Here are the top five(5) most dangerous snakes in the world:
- Belcher's sea snake : The scientific name is Hydrophis belcheri, commonly known as the Belcher's sea snake, is extremely venomous. According to researchers the Belcher’s sea snake’s venom is about a hundred times more toxic than any other snake’s in the world. Just to give you an idea how toxic, only a few milligrams of the Belcher’s sea snake’s venom can kill over one thousand(1000) people. The snake is very timid and would take a lot of threat before it strikes.
- Inland Taipan : found in certain parts of Australia, is often referred to as the "fierce snake," and its bite can kill a human being within an hour. One of the deadliest snakes on the planet.It usually kills its prey with a series of rapid accurate strikes(strike up to 7 times)
- Philippine Cobra : it one of the deadliest and most venomous snakes in the world.The Philippine Cobra is regarded as the most deadly Cobra in the world and the third most dangerous snake in the world.Philippine
cobra is called ulupong in Tagalog, carasaen in Ilocano and agawason in Cebuano-Bisaya. A bite from this deadly spitting cobra can kill a human within a half hour. Its venom can damage the respiratory systems.
- Death Adder : Acanthophis is a genus of elapid snakes. Commonly called death adders, they are native to Australia and other part of the world. This dangerously venomous snake is a nocturnal animal ( active at night ) and only grows to around 80 cm.it is the fastest striking snake in the world.
- Eastern Brown Snake : scientifically called the Pseudonaja textilis, is an
extremely venomous snake and native to Austrialia ,Indonesia and some parts of the world. eastern brown snakes can chase humans for over 100 meters. A active and diurnal(active in day time) predator , Bites from this reptile often result in dizziness, diarrhea and convulsions and can lead to paralysisand
cardiac arrest I not treated immediately.
