Polish Nature - Perfect Ice Surface

All these shots were taken little earlier this year, when we had a couple of very clod nights and calm weather.
Such conditions were perfect to form an ideal flat ice on the lake.
I had a luck to visit the place just before the snowfall next day. Such a perfect ice surface is amazing to walk on because the ice looks like a glass and is totally transparent.

Of course I didn't risk my life and didn't go too far from the shoreline because the ice was still quite thin, has about 3-4 cm, enough to not to break under my feet but not enough for me to feel comfortable and safe.

During the day temperature was still under the freezing point so the ice was cracking and singing beautifully. It is a magical experience to hear all these strange sounds from the lake.
