I seldom saw Hydrangea in Thailand as it’s a cold-climate ornamental flowering plant. (it is a flower that originated in China and Japan.) So, they can actually grow in the North of Thailand where it’s cooler than any other parts.

Luckily, my daughter in-law sent me this set of photos of beautiful Hydrangea that she found in the public garden in Nagoya, Japan. As it’s the start of the rainy season in Japan now and the Hydrangea likes this rainy season so much, so there are many of them blooming in the garden now.

Hydrangeas are very popular flowers because they have various colors; i.e. blue, purple, pink and white, and really large sizes.

As far as I know, apart from their beauty, Hydrangeas also carry positive symbolism; i.e. representing gratitude and understanding, etc. This makes them a popular gift for special occasions as well.
