Rainy days
They call them gray, dark days, they say that there’s "bad weather", they consider them bad, sad and boring.
For my part, I think they are beautiful days, and it isn’t necessary that the sky be colorful to see it as something pretty.
The cold refreshes your mood, and makes you want to share a hug or cuddle with someone you love.
Each droplet that falls from the clouds has a lot of nutrients for nature. Haven’t you noticed that after a rain the plants look greener? The flowing water cleans everything in its path, which is why the colors look much more alive when the sun comes out again.
The little puddles left on the floors serve to hydrate the animals on the street, and to mention the birds, have you seen how they have fun playing in them?
Since I was a little girl I always enjoyed playing in the rain, running, jumping and feeling those droplets on my skin. You see it as something so normal, so irrelevant. But is it really so simple that water falls from the sky? We have all seen in the school the water cycle, how it evaporates, clouds form, get fat and heavy and finally fall drop by drop until reaching unimaginable places, and this never ends. It is not as simple as it seems.
Although most people don’t like the days like that, it seems incredible and beautiful to me, and I enjoy every rainy day for what it is, a gift from nature.
And you, do you love them or hate them?
