Beaconing work in the Orinoco river
Hello friends of Steemit today I'm going to show you some pictures of coworkers from the National Institute of Canalizaciones, doing maintenance work on the buoys and lamps placed along the Orinoco River Navigation Channel.
We can say that the Orinoco River is one of the most important rivers in South America that flows mostly through Venezuela. The Orinoco basin covers an area of almost 989,000 km², of which 643 480 km², that is, 65%, remain in Venezuelan territory and the remaining 35% in Colombian territory.
The buoy system was established to delimit navigable channels, signal obstacles to navigation and help the navigator.
These men perform their daily tasks by welding, cleaning and repairing each of the buoys placed along the navigation channel of the Orinoco River.
tu trabajo es interesante y mas con semejante rió!
gracias, en verdad es un trabajo interesante y a la vez riesgoso, por la magnitud del rio Orinoco
