Also on this day, Oct. 26th 1984, three future NBA All-Stars would make their debuts just as
Michael Jordan did.
Charles Barkley, also known as "Sir Charles" and "The Round Mound of Rebound" made his
debut for the Philadelphia 76ers in a 111-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Sir Charles would go on to be an 11 time All-Star, NBA Most Valuable Player, All-Star game
MVP and so on..
Another future All-Star, who played his whole career for one team, made his debut for the
Utah Jazz.
John Stockton, would go on to become a 10 time All-Star, he is considered to be one of the
best point guards in NBA history.
Kevin Willis, debuted on this day for th Atlanta Hawks.
He was a 1 time All-Star and NBA Champ in a career that spanned almost 24 years.
By the end of his career he had scored 17,253 points and 11,901 rebounds.
All three had long and good careers in the NBA.
