Experimental Crochet Scarf
Update on project:
Based on a scarf pattern I found recently, I am trying a version in which I create fringe as I change colors. Here is the beginning of my experiment.
The fringe is formed by extra chains at the beginning of a row, and by slip stitches in those chains on turning rows. I'm playing around to see if I like the results. The colors are fun, too. I'm combining Caron Simply Soft and Lion Brand Heartland from my stash.
I've got this project up on my Ravelry page, too, and will be making technical notes as I progress.

The scarf looks beautiful, @fiberfrau. I like this technique and it's a good way of using different colours of left over yarn :D
I am enjoying using some leftovers plus some colors I found on clearance at my local shop.
It is shaping up nicely--I love playing with colors. Can't wait to post when it is finished.
