Needlework Monday: embroidered patch
So I finished the patch I was making for my first aid bag this week:
mutual aid first aid :)
I asked my FB friends if embroidering my own anarchist patches was extra punk or extra grandpa. Generally people thought it was punk, or both - grandpunk, if you will. ;)
Just a simple little project, but it made me happy. :)
This is the first aid kit that I am doing #upfundme posts for to get the supplies. I want to be able to help my community with it, if circumstances arise!
That's about it on my needlework of late. I look forward to seeing what you all are working on this week! :) Steem on!

This is def punk, but I love the GrandPunk word for sure 😃
A little project that makes you happy is a great project, I would say ! 😉
Ha ha ha, thanks! :) I like grandpunk as a word, too. :D
It looks nice... Grandpunk...lol
Thanks! ;)
So many things on steemit I dont know... and upfundme is one of them. I will research.
Your embroidery is (in my eyes) so punk. It reminds me of the patches I admired on older kids jackets when I was in school in another punk revival phase.
I love how you stylized the fist, this will be very cool for a first aid bag.
#upfundme is basically crowdfunding with upvotes (and donations, if people want). They're a tribe now and have a token. :)
Thank you! I like how it turned out. I just copied the fist design from the raised fist often used in activist spaces:
...only instead of filling it in with color, I just did an outline. :)
