Their Round Nerd desperately wanted a pint of beer that they would occasionally hug. It might have been a fairly astonishing suggestion, to my dad, but not to the Nerd, who felt it was sublime. A pint of beer was the thing that was selected.

Their Round Nerd always had with them a set of lego that they would cuddle. It would be a fairly curious proposal, to my grandma, but not to the Nerd, who had come to the conclusion that this idea was the most awesome idea. Remarkably, a set of lego is the item to opt for.
