A Gentle Nerd

A Gentle Nerd always carried a painting of a melon that they sometimes eat. One might consider this to be a fairly curious proposal, to me and my wife, but not to the Nerd, who thinks it was miraculous. Strangely, a painting of a melon would be the chosen thing.

A Gentle Nerd carried a piece of paper that they would sometimes throw. It was considered to be a peculiar proposal, to you and me, but not to the Nerd, who felt that the idea was sublime. A piece of paper was the chosen item.
