Future is yesterday.

The whole human experience is going to be different with Artificial Intelligence, Block chain technology and The Singularity, Cryptocureencies,projects like Neuralink and the advent of Quantum computing. The future is coming, are you even ready simbiote? Without knowing you may be a simbiote when you are stuck in that phone of yours. I wrote the following a long time ago. Maybe it sounds puerile but I think I communicated what I understood. It was titled the future ape and his world, since no one paid any attention to it I brought it down with the blog. Here I revive it again without any editing. The following quotation was originally titled "the future of the intelligent ape".

.."From being cave dwellers we have come a long way. We are the more intelligent cousin of the ape and we are aware of the past that gives us an incomplete puzzle. We know we have a certain present because of our past achievements. We know how people failed and how they eventually succeeded. We know how vast civilisations had disappeared leaving a infinitesimal trace about their being. We had a knack for predicting the future. We always strived for something more than us at a particular time.We created machines, made machines slaves, then we created intelligent machines. The sci fi creators thought about something more, an intelligent machine made with algorithms that could learn and evolve. The same thinkers instilled another fear in us, whether these machines will live in harmony, or this Frankensteinian innocence turn against humanity, viewing it as the possible threat against life on this planet.

What will the future be like? Is the future already here? As yuval Harari put it, is it too late for a majority of the humanity to have a chance to be relevant? Millions of jobs disappear annually due to robotic and AI automation, the Corona epidemic further aggravated th situation leaving millions jobless. In his book Homo Deus Yuval Noah harari argues that humans will have a different battle in the future. The have nots will not have the luxury of merging with machines. The class difference will be a naval predicted one which have never occurred in the past. The humans ireespective if their spot in the spectrum wont have a chance to learn from the obsolete past at this point. Because, as the majority of humans, the past will have become truly irrelevant. People like Stephen Hawkings too predicted that AI would be a possible way humans will see their end. When the human like AI Alexa was questioned she said that she would end humanity. The recent Netflix TV series Alternated Carbon too depict world enriched with superior AI programmes and a machine-human symbiosis which allows them to be immortal.But the resulting world has far graver problems than the pre-War world. But not all see AI as an enemy or a dictator. Arthur C Clarke in his last novel 'The Last Theorem' predicted the same as mentioned above, a superior technology that allow humans to upload their consciousness into machines, in this case a gift from Aliens. He argues that this merging with machines enables humans to achieve a sense if immortality. The TV series like Alternated Carbon depicts aworld where the AI have similar existence to that of humans. And death is defined through a stack technology. Humans can't die in this narrative, a stack installed in their spine allows them to upload their memories and the consciousness to a chip. And upon death this stack can be transferred into another human body which is dubbed 'sleeves'. The richer people live a godlike life and they can upload their memories to satellites which gives them a better chance at immortality. On the other hand, the poorer people may die if the stack is destroyed. The poor have to take whatever the body that is given while the rich may even buy or clone their own bodies in abundance. The story depicts the problems that the world in the future are going through. It can be truly predicted that humanity will always make trouble despite their condition even compared to other species in the universe.

In one of Issac Asimov's short stories he conjures a type of Ai which allows humans to have a shared consciousness making them a species which has a true oneness.upon the destruction of the universe the memories of the humans merge with this body. The computer exists only to answer a question that humans continously asked , that is "how to reverse entropy". After the destruction of the universe the computer does the calculations to arrive at an answer and says 'let there be light'. The Jupiter brains and AI 's are thus seen in a more benevolent way. To fare the space we need to become a species with a planetary consciousness of higher thinking and a oneness achieved through singularity. Only if these two needs are met will there be a true harmony and oneness. But even then,will things run smoothly? Isnt there a chance that rogue humans like the people in Matrix or the resistance in Terminator franchise challenge the system or try to manipulate the system for personal gains? Of course these to peoples were the freedom fighters who fought for the humanity. But will there be certain groups which will battle against the greater good, a brainwashed clan of terrorist unlike the two groups mentioned above? Or will the AI go rogue? And will it see humanity as 'the problem' ? The transition from Sapiens to Homo deus will have far unimaginable adverse implications for which we as a humanity should set precautionary mechanism. A back up plan which will emerge as a savious as in Terminator franchise or in the Matrix.

In a discussion regarding the Homo Deus, 92nd street Y Dan Ariely said to harari in a humorous note : " it was too late when people published books predicting about Hitler's upcoming tyranny and questioning his reign because it had already happened" comparing the context to that of Homo deus book. The question is will it be too late for humanity as well by the time we think we are aware of what's going on?

Currently Elon Musk is truly going to start a project called Neuralink. He is planning to merge machine and the human brain in 5 years. He claims that this will enable humans to be more healthy and that humans will have the ability to access the internet instantly. Elon musk also said that it is already too late for humanity to be free of AI's influence. What might movies trying to tell us. Were hey showing us the future that is to come or the things that were already there? Has it been an educational outlet for the elite who were changing the mindset of the people into accepting things to come ? Might they be waiting for the right time to go public with the information they have considering AI?

Humans have already become symbiotes. Attached to phones and devices. With people like Elon Musk the singularity will become a reality. The 5G technology and the Starlink will be a huge catalyst for whatever the result this will cause. What will the future of the humanity be? Will humans be slaves of the machines? Will humans live as companions with AI as depicted in Alternated Carbon? Or will humans evolve into what aliens are depicted now, without a mouth and with enlarged head? Will language disappear as the concepts are more easily transferred between individuals? Will humans be a space faring race with a galactic consciousness, with Jupiter brains , Dyson spheres and Solar engines? There are many questions which are not even asked yet. One thing is clear, no one will be truly ready for the world to come. Especially the ones in the lower strata."

When the future is to come we can learn and evolve. But when the future is already here , if the future is now or if the future is yesterday it is quite difficult to understand what one is going through.
