Pohela Boishakh
Pohela Boishakh or Bengali New Year is that the ancient year day of the Bengali individuals. It's celebrated on fourteen April as a holiday in People's Republic of Bangladesh. The competition date is ready in line with the satellite Bengali calendar because the 1st day of its 1st month Baishakh. In Bengali, Pohela stands for 'first' and Boishakh is 1st month of Bengali calendar. The competition is well-known with processions, fairs and family time. The normal acknowledgment for Bengali year is Shubho Nabobarsho that is means that Happy New Year.
Boishakh Akbar the Mughal emperor was aggregation the tax underneath his reign from 1556 to 1609. On the days, the economy was absolutely trusted the Agricultural productions. That was the time; the Arabic or Hijri year did not match for aggregation the Agricultural product because the Tax. Then he created a replacement calendar to gather the Tax from the people that were absolutely trusted the Agricultural product. That Calendar was named as Bangle calendar and also the first day of this calendar referred to as the Pohela Boishakh.
