Schaeffler Bio-Hybrid Micro-Mobility Vehicle

The Schaeffler Bio-Hybrid, micro-mobility concept vehicle combines weather protection and power with the small frame of a pedalec.

The four-wheeled Schaeffler Bio-Hybrid provides electric assist pedaling, combining the health and environmental benefits of biking with the comfort of a car. The vehicle does not require a driver’s license, and can travel at speeds as fast at 15 mph for up to 60 miles on one charge. The Bio-Hybrid was also designed with an eye towards evolving infrastructure, such as bike highways, and the knowledge that consumers tend to be slow to adopt unusual micromobility vehicles.
