New uses for wireless touchscreen computers
These three wireless touchscreen computers are sitting on my desk looking for new things to be.
From the left, my trusty HTC One who can't recognise a SIM, a T-mobile thingy that I got cheap in the USA to use while my main phone was getting unlocked and my much loved iPod Touch (3rd Gen, 32GB).
Two have cameras. All three have wifi connectivity and are easily powered via USB. The HTC has 16GB storage, the iPod 32GB and I think the T-Mobile takes a micro SD.
So what to do with them all. They have minimal resale value, although they probably could go to work for some charity.
But first I'd like to see what problems I can solve with them closer to home, thinking laterally.
I haven't even started googling yet. Let me know your thoughts and experience too though.

Maybe you could use them as security cameras for your home. I have seen that use before. :)
I have a very safe home :) But yes, thank you, I would really like to be able to use the wireless camera functionality.
Hahah!! I use a security camera, for when I have cleaners or some other people coming to do work in my house. That's why I suggested it. Good luck!
heh! yes, just kidding, I understood :)
I was thinking this too. I have some old phones that could be used
you maybe able to run cydia on the pod, which will unlock extra things to do whats needed.
thanks :) putting it on the list!
it may only work as tethered or untethered.. never unlocked 1 before, just brief reading about the process seemed interesting. shoudn't be too difficult. there are a fair few proper tutorials on utube for it.
you can maybe run folding@home on these
