New to Steemit

Hi, I am from India and new to Steamit. The fact that I got the user name I am using so easily, which I never get on any other platform, points to the fact that there are very less Indians out here :p
It would take me a while to get a hang of this new social media, but the idea seems interesting and optimistic for Web 3.0. Please help me navigate through communities and functionalities on steemit.
