Hey, yes this a real site. You get paid through a digital currency called Steem. That then has a fiat value. So yes, you do get paid. At my time of viewing you've made over $2 in just 6 minutes! Insane!
I to am new to this site but have heard great things about it. I would also suggest purchasing Steem right now. Its rumored to take off in the same way that Bitcoin did and right now, $30 will get you roughly 18 Steem coins...who knows where the crypto will be in a few months...even if it reaches $10 a coin you are looking at $1800
