I wrote an article about voting when your vote worth appears 0.00. Why it is still important and that multiple 0.00 votes add up to cents. You can read about it here
What about voting to get noticed? I did this and think it gave me a lot back, both followers and votes:-)
Believe it or not, I actually read this post before seeing in this thread.... I think. I found it informative and well written and have bookmarked a couple of the links you provided using my name as the variable.
