The Diary Game: 1.1.2026| How my day went, New year.

^{House activities}

Hello my @steemit family,how are you doing?So today I did some house activities when I woke up, Sweeping, cleaning of the toilet, laundry and kitchen duties. After staying awhile at home, the house was bored so I decided to go to my uncle shop because it’ll be busy and I also will be at least. I went there, guess what everywhere was busy, from the moving of vehicles, motorcycles and the walking of people to and fro. This went on till evening, the walking of people was very busy and rousy with street lights.

^{Offloading of Nigerian breweries}

So today in my uncle shop there was offloading of few goods and Nigerian breweries was among, this takes a lot of time. When this drinks are offloaded and packed inside the store appropriately. What make it takes a lot of time is because they are in bottles so when it is offloaded, empty bottles are given to the suppliers to replace the drinks offloaded for my uncle. It goes like that for every bottle drink but drinks in plastic or cans are not like that. So more than a hundred crates of drinks were offloaded and each crates carries twelve bottles.

^{I missed breakfast so I ate something for lunch}

After sometime I got hungry and I went to out to buy food in an eatery to satisfy my hunger. I bought swallow which is fufu(cooked cassava flour) and melon soup which we call Egusi. I ate to my satisfaction and I was refreshed to carry on with my day activity.

^{My uncle bought catfish}

My uncle bought live catfish, he bought it and I was able to put it into a large bucket fill with water in order for it to survive. He was not ready to process it for consumption that’s why it was put into the bucket with water. He said when he’s ready he’ll send it to a local restaurant for it to be prepared for him to consume.

^{Time to go home}

After coming back home from my uncle shop, I started preparing for cross over night service. It’s a program that leads one from the previous year to the new/coming year. I took my bath, dressed up and left the house for the service. When u reach the premises was already filled with people, people holding sticks of knockout shot that would be fired into the air as a sign of celebration. I took my seat to a corner to write my diary, this service is going to take hours from this night till dawn. It’ll be all about about celebration and thanksgiving. See you guys
